Coastline problem

Post by stegs »

Has anyone come across this problem before?
The coastline along northern France/Belgium/southern Holland(ie the nearest coast to Britain) has lost its usual flowing edge and is just a series of straght lines. This seems to have occured since I loaded VFR terrain. Is something overwriting something? Any ideas?

Yes there is a patch for this at: http://www.visualflight.info/products/v ... pdates.htm
Scroll down to Replacement Coastlines by Nigel Glossop
The file you need is Coastlines1setup.exe [446KB] and there is also a readme file.

Thanks frog
It's good here isn't it. Come in from the pub, ask a question, get an answer, sort the problem out.
If only the real world was so helpful.

Stegs..

Why not get a lap-top with wireless connection, then stay in the pub?..same results, more beer

Actually it's probably a bit sad. After a pleasant evening in the public house you come home to try and find out why your northern France coastline has gone awry.
