Hi Gents

Dave Booker has kindly accepted the role of Deputy CEO. This will enable Dave to keep things ticking over during any periods where I may be absent. Thankyou Dave.

Does this mean I'm not a Senior Flight Captain anymore??

Couldn't stand the idea of sailing a desk in the RN which is why I stayed as I was :-$

Leg pulling.. honestly  JP is planning a holiday soon and rather than have the VA grind to a halt.. he very kindly asked if I'd look after the day to day stuff (accept new pilots.. allocate TR's) in his absence. I don't have the same depth of knowledge (nor Konny's ear) of the VA that John does as I like to fly too much and am more than happy to leave John to his own devices but.. it wouldn't be helpful if, when John takes a well earned sojurn, to have the VA in stasis hence my temporary appointment

Unless John has talked Konny into changing the rules a little.. only the CEO has the power to accept new pilots.. authorise TR's e t c so he'll be standing down for the duration of his break and will take it up again on his return (and fast.. I can assure you)

You guy's could make this the shortest lived appointment in history

At 15%, I think you lot get enough and instant Captaincy.. sri mate, you gotta do the flights. It's a lot less than you think so get in the air and stop wasting your time on here!!
