Senior Flight Captain
I was being very proud of myself having finally achieved the rank of 'Senior Captain', when I noticed that our Dave Booker has achieved the exalted rank of 'Senior Flight Captain'.
Were not worthy.....

Hi Joe
I can't actually remember when that happened but it's been a whle now. I was kinda expecting/wondering if anything was going to happen at 1000 flights but it didn't.. nor at 1000hrs. Perphaps John knows??
Congrats on becoming a Senior Captain

Hi Dan,
Yes.. I believe you attain the rank of Senior Captain at 100 flights so you're not far off
Garry..
Thank you for the reminder!!
I don't really know but I guess that Senior Flight Captain is as high as it goes as I've been one of these for as long as I can remember (which granted.. isn't very long.. that Senior thing again)
For sure, I've done hundreds of flights as SFC so I guess the next thing is a gold watch and a P45

I believe the ranks are based on your combined flight ratings. A perfect flight counts as 1, get dinged for a landing lights violation and it drops down to 0.95, etc.
My rank bumped up when it crossed 100, I would guess that Senior Flight Captain must be around 1000 since Dave is at 1131.8, but since we only have one data point cant be certain.

Hi Joe,
I'm pretty sure it's not the 1000 mark mate as I checked to see if anything had happened.. and it hadn't. I've been an SFC for literally hundreds of flights. Maybe it was 500.. 600.. something like that. Definately not 1000 though
