Rick, Thats a EXCELLENT job well done and MANY THANKS this will breath new life into the old girl. Thanks also to Ralph Pegram for the original model and to Brian (Horse) Horsey for the FDE though I use Kevin's later FDE.
Just having a lot of enjoyment flying around the upcountry Aden airstrips
Maybe you could upload a package to the Otters place to keep tabs on downloads and to save bandwidth as I think this will be very popular
Again Many Thanks.

Possibility of reverse thrust on the Bev, I know it has always been said it can be done but win232 over on SOH says he has done it in the aircraft.cfg and explains how, I have'nt managed it yet maybe someone else would like to try.

Piston prop reverse does work as Alphasim has it on the Martin Mars and Caribou but it is all in the airfile.

This is ridiculous............ :curse:
I've just re-installed my FS9 totally, added Rick's kindly provided all-in-one Beverley files and I can load any one version into the default flight at Seattle OK. But if I try and change to the other Bev it crashes FS back to the desktop!
This happens if I try and start with either version, and try and change to the other. I can change other aircraft just fine, I just can't swap Bev versions.
This is on my WinXP powered laptop, but on my 'normal' Win2K powered FS desktop machine it all works perfectly.
What the DEVIL is going on here???????

Kit, I assume you updated FS to 9.1 after you re-installed it

Myles and Peter,
Yes, I did remember to do the V 9.1 upgrade (and I have forgotten previously...) but digging deeper I find I can't do anything once I've loaded any one of the Bevs. Trying to change to any other a/c produces a crash and I can't even close FS9 down without it crashing too! :crying:
But I didn't let that get me down, oh no! For my own contribution to the 'new' Beverley here's a work in progress shot of a 47 Sqdn. Bev in its original late 1950s scheme. It's XB269 'F' that I flew in quite a few times back then.
Note the tiny Abingdon coat of arms on the nose.

It took me no less than 35 re-starts to produce this............... <phew>

Kit, can you post the aircraft list from the top of your aircraft.cfg I suspect the problem is there or you can try mine which has the same 2 textures with 2 heavy drop ver plus 2 standard config, Kevin's 47 Sqn will be added today.
