I get tired of "whodunnit" crap - in my lifetime I have had a few friends who have failed to land - I don't need to read bs like that about whos fault it was -
then have uneducated , non aviation types past judgement...sorry its a raw spot with me

You are absolutely right. The reason I posted it was the fact that it was the worst aviation accident ever, and I saw it once in a documentary.

several coincidences led to the accident and all should learn from it.

Commenting like that is bs. I don't think it really call for any comments at all.

I was just a reminder of when something goes wrong it can go REALLY wrong. Doesn't matter who's fault it is as long as every means are done to prevent it from happening again.

Like the Linate accident with SAS a few years back. series of various mishaps led to the final tragic accident...

Hey I remember this on Air crash where the two 747 crashed they found out it was the KLM pilot thought for the crash.It was in Tenerife
