This scenery is the most realistic scenery that I have ever seen for Flight Simulator 9 and in my opinion, it is way superior to anything ever seen in FSX:-
...5000 feet.
And here straight down.
...Hillsboro. The cars on the road are moving of course.
I have to say that in my honest opinion...This is a real as it will ever get.

I don't believe FS9 will ever be surpassed by FSX. I am still buying Aerosoft German scenery for FS9 and as for this Flightzone stuff...I will buy everything anyone makes of that quality. I expect to remain with FS9 though FSX, FSXI and maybe even through FSXII
Furthermore, I get excellent frame rates and performance in this Portland area
Off Topic: if I remember well you once complained that the only problem with FS9 was the water textures. Is that correct?
If so have you tried a new package from Joao Paz (of Howard 500 project fame) named Jazz Art's water environment (jzwater.zip) at Avsim.com.
What Peters shots cannot show are the fully animated 3Dground staff and moving vehicles (trucks, vans and cars with headlights at night..see shot below) on the airfield roads (these look superb when you catch a glimpse of them as you sweep over the threshold). Here are some of my older shots, just to convince you still further!

Not quite...I said that the only thing I liked about FSX was the water reflections I do have some excellent water in FS9 now and I'm very pleased with it
