Hiya Michael..

Thanks for that  I've searched everywhere and can only find the F3  Is it possible that the F8 was added for 2004  Whatever.. no sign of it anywhere :dunno:

I believe when the Meteor was upgraded to FS2004 the F8 was added with 2 skins, im not 100% but looking in the AS shop now if you buy it now you get FS2002/FS2004/CFS compatible versions with 2 F3 & 2 F8 textures.

As far as l know you should be able to get the others from Alphasim, it depends whether it has been defined as an update or a reworked product.

If its an update then you should be entitled to the updates, if its a rework ( re priced ) then l suspect not, having said that the models are three + years old now, l'm amazed there still in the shop TBH.

Your first port of call should be Alphasim for the above issue, after that, l cant really advise l'm afraid, there are other factors that must be taken into account.

Thanks Michael, Phil's always really good with updating stuff. But on this occassion, the F3 will do me fine... it's the classic single seater meteor IMHO

Kind regards

John

I have to agree with you there John.. of sorts anyway

I feared that the 'current' Meteor was probably re-listed as a 'new' model and as such, became a new purchase rather than an update so I'll not be purchasing it again. If I flew it every day.. perhaps every week.. or even once every year, I'd consider the re-purchase but I don't so I won't be bothering Phil on this occassion  Changine the dyhedral on the F3 would sort it out (though this may have been done with the FD update) and like you, consider the F3 the best looking of the single-seaters
