I was up on the roof terrace (sorting the washing out :redface: ), this afternoon, when I heard the unusual sound of English voices down in the street opposite. I lean over the balcony and who should I see in our tiny village.....a 'Place in the Sun' film crew, complete with that gangly woman, Jasmine.
I popped down for a chat whilst they set up a shot and managed to put the buying couple off the house they had just seen! Built by Brit cowboys to a very low standard! We looked at it last year and walked straight out! Just managed to get a quick piccy of them though.

Good spot Trevor, are we likely to see you on the show or was your advice to the buyers given off camera?

It has to be said despite the downwards spiral the country seems to be on, I really don’t think I could ever leave completely. Right now spring is in full swing and the place looks fantastic.
Yes, I thought it was a shame that it was not Ms. Lamb , still never mind. The show will be aired in early 2008!! Not sure if it will be a 'home or away' version or a standard one. No, I will not get a mention, however if they hate the house in our village.....that may well be because of what we told them after the crew drove off
