Hi John

You're certainly squeezing a few out of the Dak....

The ex BM Centra Air Services is a new one on me........did they last very long?

Certainly didn't come around our way

Hi Garry,

From the readme that I condensed down from info out of 'British Independant Airlines 1946-1976' :-
Central Air Services was previously know as Air Envoy which started off as an executive air charter and air taxi operator at Birmingham Airport. In March 1969 the company purchased a DC-3 G-AGJV, which it intended to use for passenger and freight ad-hoc charter and IT passenger work. However, Central never used the aircraft on any of their own services as it was immediately leased to Air Ulster who used it on scheduled services from Belfast and Birmingham. Air Ulster ceased operations in January 1970 and Central Air Services subsequently sold the DC-3.
There's also a photograph of it in the book.

Thanks John

It's use then could not be described as 'extensive'

I had heard of Air Envoy not that they came around here and of course Air Ulster.

Sort of OFF thread but looking at the screenies I noticed something that
I have seen in flying the default DC3 - it always appears to have a little left rudder applied no matter what your doing

BTW John - I rememeber seeing the Keegan Dc3 at Gatwick in the early 70s - seems to me Keegan put his "brand" the K on everything he owned

He sure did Leif

He put it on the Dove :worried:

And on this

http://airliners.net/open.file/0098983/L/

There were many titles and liveries that had the "K" on the fin.

Does anybody know if these wonderful repaints will work on the default FSX Dak, they would look brilliant on one of the only aircraft I actually enjoy in FSX :crying:

If they don't Trev you could always import the FS9 Dak...I would think that'll run in FS.X .. ..well worth a try

My guess is the X version will use .DDS textures

Thanks Garry, but it is the inside of the FSX Dak that I like, so importing the FS9 one would not help.
