Now the Dove sound set will fit the aeroplane - The Augmenter exhausts on the 8 gave it a very deep throaty sound. Ill wait for the old NCB mk8 GARUM to arrive :) - Shame that Mr Wilsons goverment had no flair or taste and it looked Identical to Hotel Whisky

At least I can wait for the Heron and some wonderful colour variations

Wait indeed and not first inline either

Actually Leif.. I've only ever flown in the '8' and my comment that the sounds released with the model were closer to the 'original' than the other one are a little at odds as the release was definately not an '8' :worried: Make of it what you will but the release soundset are closer to an '8' than MarkC's revision.. and thats not to saying that there's anything wrong with Marks set  I'll stop here and take my boots off!

Dave

No Apologies needed - I ran the "other" (read Comet soundset) and
your correct the sound set does sound right for an 8.

As to the Heron (wicked grin) cant wait to crank um them three
bladed Gypsies in Honolulu

I'll take my Heron in Bottle green and blue thank you

 Now go wash your mouth out with soap :tuttut:

Sorry Jonathan only real Herons here.

The three bladed refers to HATS in Hawaii that fitted Dove three bladed props to their Herons.

The engines remained Gypsies

You mean those awful medical experiments carried out on poor unsuspecting Herons to produce a monster that Frankenstein would have rejected. :huf:

May have been Commonwealth but that act alone should have caused the Commonwealth to be disbanded
