Found that one the other day to establish whether XW267 was genuine.

It is a Harrier T4 and lives outside the former Chilwell Barracks in Notts. Opposite Tesco where I was going

Should have posted here

Useful site thanks for posting John.

Ian, I'm intrigued to learn there's a Harrier in Nottingham. Don't suppose you have any pictures?

Alex

No pictures of my own, but if you go to the website John posted, then Aircraft/Harrier/XW267 there is a photo there and pretty much what it looked like on Thursday.

And it is visible in Google Earth at:

52°54'34.67"N 1°15'21.55"W

Thanks Ian, found it on Google maps. What's that next to it, a tank of some sort maybe, it actually looks like and earth mover!?!

what I liked is that little Wicko JB1 which was a one off - impressed into the RAF and flew as a liason/hack - and still flying to this day - and she looks beautiful too,
