Yorkshire Air Museum April 4th

Hi people,

Been to the YAM today to view the Falklands Conflict exhibition....bit of a let down there I thought, but was glas to see the Gannet has been reunited with the front propeller at last.

The undoubted star of the day was XL231 who had queues of people waiting to climb up into the cockpit.

Days pictures here http://robertpeach.fotopic.net/ & see most recent collection.

That’s a pity; I had understood they’d painted their Mirage in Argentine colours especially. Did you get any shots of it?
Still from the pictures on your site it looks like it was a nice day for it.

Alex

Sadly not this time round, it was tucked in one of the corners of the main hanger, which is bursting at the seams. The event was opened by the Mayor of York though which added some prestige to the event.

But as I went principally for the Victor, the actual exhibition was of a minor distraction.
