BEA Winged Key Dragon Rapide

Post by Garry Russell »

A quick hop over to 'The Pond' will find this repaint of Dave Garwood Rapide ready for download.

This is for the FS9 version of the aircraft and depicts G-AGLP in an early form of the livery as adopted by the fledgling Corporation

The paint will be uploaded to Flightsim.com and Simviation sometime tomorrow but can be had now at http://www.classicbritishfiles.com/

Garry

Have you ever done a British Westpoint Rapide?

Can't find one in the usual places, so next option was to ask the man himself

Garry,

OK, just thought I'd check since you seem to be doing Rapides right now.

At least I know why I didn't find that repaint.

Hi Ian

These two are the first ones I've done.

The object of the exercise being to up the number of genuine paints for the VA and at the same time increase the potential for fleet expansion.

TBH I've not seen a pic of British Westpoint...only the Dakota :dunno:

Mayflower was one that operated the Isle of Scilly route until the death of the owner so perhaps they were those aircraft taken over but Westpoint. :dunno:

I think Mayflower was a basic BEA livery and it was from them that the aircraft were bought as the ones down there were the last of the BEA fleet.

G-AJCL was one....can't think of the others off hand.

But things do turn up while looking for other things and that is how the Eagle came up while researching the Viking.

But singular painting from now on is very much a background activity as I move on to other projects......some of which involve paints.
