I've just flown the Herald in FLYNET for the first time (time out for a nostalgia break. Autair Heralds and 748's at Teesside airport in the 60's when I was a young aerospotter. We were thankful for them just to see something other than the usual flying club Cessna pottering about) and would like to hear what engine settings etc. etc. other people use.
Also the brakes seem a bit sharp. Felt like I was thru the windscreen

Hi Steve

I have a rebuilt Herald in progress that handles like it should.

the old one had "experts" make the fde so it was poop to fly

this one has my fde so flies near the correct numbers much like the 748 does.

Regards
Rick

I take it by what you said Ben that you sort of borrowed it from Rick to Beta Test it.....or in another words to have an extended test flight whilst the likes of me is having to wait!!!!! :huf:
I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.
