Sounds cool.. but is there an accompanying 146 anywhere? Freeware or pay? I don't know of any so a hu would be greatfully received.

Do a search on flightsim.com

With the right panel (And its there but I cant remember who's it is) you can have yourself a hell of a 146!

Tks for the HU Chris

Not sure who'll take it up though as a) buying a payware soundset for a freeware model and b) buying a payware soundset for a payware model seems a bit odd to me

TBH my first thought is 'Recorded a few weeks ago" which doesn't sound like an extensively tested set, given the wide variation in systems

I don't know.. for what it's worth, I bought the Apache sound set when it was released- to use with the Alpha Apache.. and it gave it that little bit /extra/.

Like anything Dan, it's what you're prepared to put up with I suppose. The soundset that came with the payware 146 is more than satisfactory and is probably, next to the panel, the best feature of what is a ropey old model. FD straight out of the dark ages and a texture map to equal it!! The FD on the freeware model has been looked at and boy.. is that odd too!! We bought a gallon of 146's for the VA.. kerzillions of the damned things and a check on their useage shows just how popular both models really are.. or are not as is the case here.
Shame as the 146's have some really great routes

There is...or was one being made but I thing it's been a few years in the making.

The NZ freeware one I believe is now being updated to FS.X instead of the original intention to do an updated FS.9

So there could be something appearing one day...hopefully :dunno:
