Seems I've just posted a link elsewhere that has been posted before,
got me thinking maybe we ought to have a 'Links' repository
of some sort?

Hi Pete
It would be no good on a thread as it would mean pages and pages of posts to go through
I certainly wouldn't wade through them all
It needs to be a list all on one post at best
But most times folks are aware of what has been posted recently and if a while ago it can be good to have it re-posted for new folks and due to updates
I posted a link about Liverpool once and another about Coventry
Both have recently been re posted and both had expanded quite a lot
As long as folk are up to speed with recent posts there is no problem and if a link that is useful appears then I just save it in favorites.
