Most of the things I watch are on ITV4.. otherwise known as Old Git's TV (as coined by the better half) Tonight at 6pm.. Randall & Hopkirk Deceased.. tomorrow at 6pm.. the Pursuaders.. Wed at 6pm.. The Saint. They used to show more (which is why I got a freeview box in the first place) but sadly, it's just these 3 oldtimers now.. that is unless b1oody footy is on towit one usually gets binned in favour of yet more 'Police, Camera, Action' :curse:

Yeesss.. talking of interesting things in the background..
You're right of course. Those old progs were made in the days when if a subject was going abroad, you'd get a shot of the airport and the aircraft taking off. Many is the Trident, VC10, Comet, Doves.. plenty of Doves I've seen over the last couple of years.. all in glowing colour too
No.. it doesn't ding any bells I'm afraid (although the plot sounds about right) If you had a tv.. you'd be able to catch up with these as the Avengers is shown a couple of times a week on BBC3 (I think). Old B&W ones featuring Mrs Peel :kissu:
He kills me and I don't even have to look at him. Since he started hosting 'You've been framed', I try not to miss it.. not so much for the clips but because of his narration.
There used to be a similar prog on Ch4.. think it was called Dumb and Dumber or something like that narrated by Tommy Vance. Hilarious!! A lot of the clips would have been rubbish had it not been for Tommy's commentary Bless that man

Whatever you say Graham.
Actually, I enjoy the "Open All Hours" repeats the BBC runs (constantly!!). It's a programme that is still funny, as is "Porridge" and "The Good Life" - interesting how most (all?) of the programmes that have survived the test of time are BBC programmes.
I can't see them ever repeating "I Didn't Know You Cared", but some of the Uncle Mort radio stuff does surface every now and then on Radio 4 and BBC 7 - sheer class!
