F-GBBR - BA F-28 1000

Post by hinch »

third preview:

Image

fuselage done*, engines done, tail almost done, left wing done (inc reg on underside)

* the reg number is too big...

anything i've missed? the tail took 1 1/2 hours and i'm finally happy with the sizes.

I'm assuming that you have looked at Airliners.net

If you search on "British Airways (TAT European Airlines)" there are other F-28s

Based on this view of F-GBBR
http://myaviation.net/?pid=00661013

it looks like these othe BA/TAT F-28s are the same and give more detail
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0261869/L/
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0514000/L/
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0199940/L/
http://flugzeugbilder.de/show.php?id=89002

Of course if you already have all those, this isn't going to help!

yeah you're probably right, the 2000 livery does appear to be exactly the same. Cheers anyway.

Well sort of in the end.depending how you look at it

A bit like City Flyer

In France most sort of became a part of Air France groups with varying amount of independance

But in the case of the F-28 it is TAT on the nose not Air France

At one time they were in full Air France livery

Hi Hinch

The thing that screams is the grey top is too light

Photos don't do it justice....it was quite grey especially when new
