No Leif.. certainly not.

Nice paint isn't it AA  I swear I saw a Skyways AI fly out of Ostend (or was it Calais) the other day.. first time I've seen this from Tom Gibsons 'Props' pack. Wonder if he's got any AA in there too??

Dear Leif,

Thank you for thanking me for my directions to the Dc3,However i must insist you stop the formal approach when thanking people,Before it becomes a bad habit that spreads to the other forumites.

Warmest regards,

Peter.

Apart from the wealth of knowledge and the great aircraft available on this site, the friendly atmosphere and the fact that no one seems stuck up there own arse is what makes this sit such a great place to visit.

I find the dc-3 is pretty good over the standard panel, esp the avionics.Be carfull to follow the checklist though or it will bite you.

Cheers,

Pete

Leif,

Glad you like them. I seem to have got bitten by the painting bug at the moment and have quite a few more DC3 repaints of Classic British operators in the pipeline so to speak. Derby Airways, British Midland, Cambrian, Macedonian, Air Luton, Air Ulster, Autair, British United, Gibair, Dan Air, Gregory Air Services, Irelfly, Morton, Silver City, Skyways, Air Freight, Starways, Strathair, South West Aviation, Westpoint and Air Atlantique are all possibles.

I'm trying to gather as many pictures as possible off the web to try and get the maximum number of repaints for British operated DC3's. With the default DC3 being quite acceptable as AI they should fill some gaps in the Classic AI world.

Rgds

And there is a Cambrian not done by anyone yet that is not affected by the mappining...except the wings.

Ill have my mum min take a shuftie in the attic in Atlanta - I know Dave Welch gave me some great DC3 shots albeit in black and white - including
an Autair DC3, Hunting Surveys and Aer Turas - might be a couple to add to you list - The last of which has some nice interior detail visible through the
open cargo door
