Looks a little too short to me,
I'm with AndyG on that - probably not far out, just doesn't look "right".

There's some good piccies of GR3s on the 1 Sqdn Diary site, ref. their time on the 'Atlantic Conveyer' and on the 'Hermes' and 'Invincible'.

I spent an afternoon helping recover a GR3 that had bounced off the runway into a catwalk on Hermes, silly sod still had 3 x 1000lbs attached!

Looking better, but IMHO somethings' still not quite right
with the shape/positioning of the canopy/ cockpit area, the whole lot needs to 'sit' a little lower

http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0769455/M/

and there's still too much of a change of line where the nose joins,
this is the only side profile picture I could find of a GR1

Hope this helps

UKMIL, what you need is a copy of "Harrier" by Francis K Mason - that should help enormously. Unfortunately, I dont have my copy with me so I cant scan any bits of it, but I'll post below everything I do have thats relevant:

First and third are GR.1/GR.1A, second one is a "DB Harrier", distinguished by the 6 blow-in doors rather than eight, and the last one is a GR.3
