Yes it is stunning...I'm doing beta testing on it, but principally to make sure that McLeland Field is compatible with it. Holger has kindly made several patches for me, that restore my flooded beach and slope some ground and place an island under a small lighthouse that finished up in the bay. I have been working very hard on upgrading various bits and it is such a great pleasure to fly over all my local area with now accurate terrain complete with all the glaciers...I rescued Mountain Lake from where it was buried under the ground and it really is a fabulous Mountain Lake now and with the VFR floatplanes getting in and out in the most spectacular manner. Also have enhanced the Cruise Ship scenario with the addition of Hama's Freedom of the Seas:-

Thanks Peter...and I thought I had a crowded desktop
An old pre digital age aviator like yourself must feel quite at home with all that info going on. :tuttut:
Seriously, are you planning to make your home base a public download after modifying it to fit with this scenery? I am feeling it would look a nice place to move to! ...in virtual reality, that is.

My Base is already a public download but I will release an upgrade kit as soon as Glacier Bay v2 is released...I've been working intensively on it for weeks and there will be a lot of enhancements...
Bouyed passage out from the anchorage, down Russell Fjord, past the notorious Hobart Glacier and on to the sea. All buoys and skeleton towers with lights (I will need permission to release this part).
Pilotage notes for Cruise Ship Captains to enable them to enter at night.
Beach cabin with working fuelling point on its pontoon for user floatplanes.
The three lighthouses now have lights.
Pair Seiner fishing boats operate from the long pontoon.
Switch on or off the President's visit in Air Force One on a Thursday, preceeded by the C141 carrying his motorcade.
Leaping Great White Shark moved closer to Clione's route around the bay.
Mountain Lake fixed and its traffic operating.
Bealine Trident runs regular service to Seattle.
Speedbird B707 freighter calls once a week on its RTW cargo flight.
Broken fuelling point near hangar repaired.
Still to do...Various airfields and seaplane bases are now enhanced and moved and I am adding parking to re-establish my traffic to them...Like the Situk Taildraggers club and the small Flying Boat airline that operates the services to Elfin Cove.
The Military Magpole exercise is still in the works and is almost viable now...but I'll wait for the release of GBv2 before doing any more work on it as Yakutat is involved.
BTW DaveB...You will love the new Yakutat...Brilliantly modelled and looking very like real life photographs
The whole Glacier Bay area is now a joy to fly around and joins up nicely with Tongass and Misty Fjords...Jonesey will love it  I will be glad to have more time to explore but having to work very hard locally to check that everything is working...I'm pleased to say that ATC are coping fine with the new "more mountainous" mountains so I will not need to change that piece of XML...Thank God  After laying all those buoys, each with a light effect, I have had a belly full of XML this last week

Tks for that Peter. I fear I'm a little behind with updates at this point and the VA means I'm always 'working'. I'd love to see screenies of it thoughBTW DaveB...You will love the new Yakutat...Brilliantly modelled and looking very like real life photographs

I'll make most of my screenies after the next beta drop which will probably be close to final
