Just a thought...

Post by Pringle »

Just had a quick thought, always come and have a look if the VA has got themselves any helos and was wondering, what about having a military style VA?

For us heli lovers, we could fly troop drops, USLs, cover for ground troops in set scenarios.

Any thoughts, further ideas?

Hi,

CBFS VA has been set up to use the FlyNET database which is a commercial/civil aviation based programme/database. We have included the Andover recently to simulate 'logistic' movements and these aircraft have been operated by Hunting Group on hehalf of the RAF which gave us justification to include on the fleet.

We would have no plans to operate the sort of mission you mention, but we are looking into the possibility of some limited helicoptor operations using the scenario of UK oil industry support flights using Wessex helicoptors.

I don't think TPTB at flynet would allow it anyways.
