It's a double whammy really as not only was the Britannia an important part of aviation history but British Eagle was a major user of Liverpool.

This was strengthened by their acquisition of Starways.

A British Eagle Britannia would be very nice :smile:

Excellent news!

Always loved the lines of the Britannia, looks very purposeful and immensely powerful.

Heres to the hope that we'll see her in one piece and beautifully painted once again!

Really dumb question - was she owned by BKS prior to Bentbeak and feathers operating her - the reason I asked was the rather strange glarepanel
