Desperately missing DC9-4 livery in old viking scheme (SAS)

Post by DanKH »

Hi All

As you know I'm about to redo all my AI to RetroAI et al, so one of the files I'm using is SAS77.zip from RetroAI, unfortunately I miss a repaint of SAS in the Viking livery to go with Aardvark's DC-9-40. Only livery available is SAS' new paint which (put mildly) doesn't match the Viking scheme I've found for all the other aircraft.

I would hate to comment out the DC9-4 traffic just because of a missing livery... Would somebody please help me out here?

Dan,

Would you accept a 9-2?

If not another option might be the SGA model - they seem to have a lot of the old SAS repaints.

Nope :-)

Yes after searching the whole flightsim, I stumbled over the SGA, so I'll settle for this for the time being.

Would prefer an Aardvark model for AI though.

This SGA has the old SAS (the one with the flag under it's belly)

It is better than nothing, but I really need the Viking livery....

I thought SGA did the Viking livery...in fact I used to have it, but found the model unflyable....unstable trim.

But definitely ye olde Viking livery

You're right Garry, found it this morning.

Still I would prefer Aardvark for AI....

A nice person over at RetroAI has already done it and uploaded it to Avsim. So I'm homefree now. Very quick response there...Thanks for your help.
