Do MAF use the HS-748? I thought they mainly used Caravans, Stationairs and didn't go much bigger than a King Air.

I went to a rather inspiring talk by a future MAF pilot - she'd graduated with a degree in maths from my university, and was now working full-time in an accountancy firm while building up her hours at the weekends. I think nowadays the pilots are required to bring their own CPL licences! But it looks like a rewarding and satisfying job - running around Africa with a Caravan, acting as a force multiplier to the agencies already there. Not financially rewarding though, but if you've got a bed, food and an aeroplane then what else is there to spend money on?

It might help get an answer if you made it clear what MAF means

I'm thinking about going into MAF as a tech. Anyone know anything that I should?
