I think I have those too Garry and yes.. they are very impressive. The pack comes with it's own aircraft too (flyable) and a selection of AI stuff if I remember right (not flown there for yonks). More impressive is the fact it is so easy on framerates.
Quality software and worth the dosh.. even for the occassional visit

Old sailors never die.. they just smell that way!
Re the video link Peter posted the scenery is the France VFR Alpes Nord combined with the LLH airports pack which includes Courchevel, Megeve and a couple of others. It is absolutely stunning and for Peter's information the autogen pack is available from France VFR.
The FVFR people are in My opinion world leaders in Photo scenery and mesh. You can vow fly from the Northern alpes all the way down to the French riviera with their stuff and if you fancy it a quick hop over to corsica.
They have just released St Maarten today which is of the same high standard as their other work but the jewel in their crown has to be Reunion which has got to be one of the most violent landscapes on the whole planet.
They don't seem to suffer the blurries to anywhere near the same degree as the UKVFR stuff and the patches for FSX are coming out if you have progressed to that.
Well worth a look.

yeah you gotta be super soft - i guess you do in real life too! the same problems can be found with lukla which is a b*tch.Steve M wrote:The Freeware version is by Neuroflight and whilst it is good it only covers the airfield. A problem with the sloping runway is that if you get it wrong or land to heavily you go through it as in FS it is not a runway but a sloping object. It's certainly fun trying though.

i had a few emails with the author of lukla and his new scenery of 'ulithi' - can't remember the area name but it's a bunch of small islands where the runways cover the majority of the surface area.
can't wait to see some pics from peter of this fvfr scenery
I have alot of the France VFR sceneries. They usually end up being the background in most of my "high quality" screenshots for great environmental back grounds. The only "other" sceneries I usually use for photos are Geo-Render Alaska and VOZ.
For airports, the best for me are Flight Scenery (their Portland add on is the best add on scenery I've owned for a major airport and it's surrounding) followed by FlyTampa.
