If anyone is contemplating buying a Gefore 8800 series card for Vista, don't. Even though the PDF docs on the Nvidia website say it fully supports Vista, it doesn't as there are no drivers... Not even beta's.

As a result FSX won't run as the card is detected as a "Standard VGA" type, not enough to run FSX. In the mean time I'm grounded.... and very pissed off. :brick:

Try these if you are running the 32bit version of vista.

Nvidia arent releasing any more updates on their drivers untill vista is out, when that happenes vista drivers should be avail..... Ive got 8800 GTS on XP, so doesnt matter to me

I have just reverted back to XP as we speak, just download all the updates for everything... good take a while! :lol:
