200 Up

Post by MALTBY D »

Just found out the latest flight was my 200th flight for CBFS. Who'd have thought it.

Back at Glasgow now where I'd set off from on a mad tour of the Orkney Is.
Done so many flights this past couple of days that I even caught up with Dave Booker!!! 31 for this month.
Orkneys tour included the fantastic 2nm flight from Papa Westray to Westray, which must be the shortest route we have.
All flown with Islanders with a couple of Rapides thrown in.

Sick to death of flying so slow by the end, so very happy to find a brand new 146-200 waiting at Dyce for the return to Glasgow.
So the 200th was a new type for me as well & a very nice it was too.
As a 1-11 flyer I felt right at home in this 146 (the posh model). Think it will be seeing more action from now on.

Does that mean your tempted to get the modeling clay out David? :worried:

I'm still grounded at the mo. The bits that were due to arrive last week, are coming tomorrow, to my home address as they won't deliver to work. I might try and work from home in the afternoon and see if I can catch the delivery.

Don't think I could ever better the ones that are already available Ben. :worried:
And I'm too busy flying models at the moment to be making them.
It's all good research.

Hope you can get flying again ASAP. I was getting worried that soon there would only be DaveB with more flights than me.
