My Dad and a few of his mates decided to visit Salzburg for a few days.
He flew out from Manchester and only realised that he had my passport on the second day! Lol, my name is nothing like my Dad's and neither is my photo! I cant believe that he got through....
So now my Brother has to fly out with his passport and hes not happy at all

Reminds me of sailing through security at Copenhagen having shown my boarding card to all interested parties. Only when I got into the lounge and re-arranged my hand luggage did I realise I'd actually been showing a boarding card for a flight from Brussels to Heathrow that I hadn't caught the week before

And another time I hadn't sorted my aircrafts paperwork out airside at a UK regional airport (Ops were busy helping a Britannia crew pre-flight and asked I do it on my return). So off I went into the terminal for a well deserved cuppa only to realise that coming back through security might be something of a challenge with nothing to say I had an aircraft on their apron. Nil Desperandum - rocked up at security, smiled nicely, announced I was flight crew and waved the aircrafts keys at them. They wished me a pleasant flight and waved me through. As it happens they were the keys to my aircraft but could easily have been the keys to a Ford Escort

If only we had consistency in life

Cheers

I noticed the Avidyne Integra PFD in your avatar.

A few years ago, I was returning from Germany via Frankfurt with a colleague. We got to passport control for him to realise that he had re-packed his passport in his checked luggage

All he had for identity was a work photo ID card. Perhaps fortunately the company was BASF, so we were allowed through. He never lived that one down.

Below is an example of the BASF passport

PS We don't work for them any more - they closed the UK operation.

Spot-on first time . . . . Cirrus

This one in fact, a SR22 GTS (at Lydd in September with only a few hours on the clock)

and then the full layout .............

I wasn't sure whether to go current or retro with my images. Sometimes I think I'm indecisive but other times I'm not so sure. Anyway, as you can see, I sat on the fence.
