The CH Airforce appear to have come along way since the days of outdated Swedish interceptors and de Havilland Venoms (they left service as late as 1990!).
I'm 49 coming on 50 and I bought the CD with the full knowledge of who they were. Inside still lurks a 16-year-old heavy metal fan despite the rather cranky looking exterior

I'm in the slightly odd position of being a 45 yr old with a 13 yr old son who regularly swap CDs as tastes are so similar!!
Speaking of "how low can you go?", I've just finished re-reading "the Right Stuff"; the section describing Gordo Cooper proving to somebody that birds will always s**t on a plane below them includes the reference to a 'whup, whup' noise - the sound of his props cutting the marsh grass that the birds were flying over!

I still listen to Yngwie J Malmsteen, Rammstein, Metallica, Ozzy and the odd Richard Claydermann....(got you there eh?.....no just kidding)
No apologies from this direction, my music taste can best be described as 'catholic'; it's really funny sometimes, going into a local music shop and asking for a CD - the comment of "it's in the urban section" accompanied with that "are you sure" look is always worthwhile!!
