Slight Inaccuracies

Post by JimCooper »

You've got too many windows on the Port side and the vertical bits (forget what they're called) on the tail planes are too stubby and square.

Keep up the good work

Brian mentions the Fins but not the windows and the MR2 has different windows from the R1 anyway.

This is the first time I've seen the UKMIL MR2. Good to see that The Gaffer is on to it!

Tks Jim.. I'd noted that but not mentioned it. Lovely phots you keep coming up with so I'm hopeful of more turning up if I don't finish what I ...

More differences

Post by JimCooper »

Also worth noting that the port auxilliary wing fuel tanks are different between the MR2 and R1. The MR2 has a pointed front end on the Port tank and a bulbous front end on the starboard tank (housing the searchlight). Whilst the R1 has bulbous front ends on both tanks (neither of which contains a searchlight)

Regards

Jim
