Ricks Vanguard slight problem

Post by Tomb »

never really been bothered with Turbo props before but the vanguard has got my interest in them going, nice piece of work.

updated to frasers panel so its looking good

However is thier a solution to NOT having the doors open and stairs deployed with an engine shut down ?

when i lost number one engine i had the front door open and the stairs deploy in flight

also on taxi with just two engines i end up with the front or rear door open and stairs deployed

is thier anyway of having the doors under manual control ?

regards

Tomb

"doors to manual" when i hear that on my next flight wont quite have the same meaning again LoL

happy new year all

Hi Tomb

No it's not a little edit as the parts are all modelled.

I will eventually build proper opening doors etc like the 748 has but it will be a huge workload.

it's odd really as the model otherwise is almost spot on shape wise etc.
which 4 years ago is amazing as i had no modelling skill at all.

It will get done but i have no date etc.

You could try the model file from the original download (not the mdl in the update) as i think that was the same but had no doors & steps.

i added the doors and steps for ai use mainly as they work when parked.

Regards
Rick

Must have had livestock on board, we used to keep the door open as long as possible to keep max ventilation, bl..dy hot normally.

i think you meant modelling experiance the skill is eveident ;)

i fly from the cockpit mostley so at best its a minor quibble and since its all working fine i shall leave well alone

about minor quibbles, in the next remake, would contrails be an idea

i had no contrails while the jets around me did

even piston engined b17s contrailed in ww2, i would have thought turbo props would also today

must take up the standard MS turboprop B350 i dont know if it contrails either

just a thought
