TCAS for the 1-11

Post by dc10boy »

Hi All, in a couple of screenshots I see the 1-11 panel sporting a TCAS VSI.Does anyone know where to find this gauge ?(it does not look like the ILH TCAS) and have the panel.cfg coordinates to place it?Does this TCAS mod feature a new transponder too?
Thanks
Stan

Hi Stan,

The first version of the 1-11 panel we released had a TCAS VSI as it was based on EAL's 500 'MF'.. the last fare carrying aircraft. When DM updated the panel, the TCAS went in favour of the more traditional VSI as it represented a more 'period' fit. The TCAS VSI is still alive and well in DM's latest cabfile and is called DIGI_VSI. However, there is one problem in that you couldn't do a straight swap without modifying the panel bmp as the TCAS gauge is square  In case you were wondering, it doesn't function as a TCAS instrument but it does look the part
