Have you met my friend.....

Post by delticbob »

Well, I do apologise for inflicting this on you  .

There is a tentative link here to the aviation industry, in that the Napier "Deltic" engines refered to come from a long line of famous Napier engines which were/are examples of fine British engineering.

Might I introduce you to Zontar  He's not from these parts originally, but has picked up the language, and an accent, very well. Seems he has this fascination for the Napier "Deltic" engines installed in the diesel locomotive 55022 "Royal Scots Grey" .

(Given my username seems I do too, but he & I are not related  )

These clips are strictly tongue in cheek - though in Zontars case his tongue might have been somewhere other than his cheek, judging by some of his exploits at YouTube (not linked to above), & might raise a chuckle or three.

I would advise watching first & deciding if the content is suitable for minors as there is some f....fancy language in a couple, though it bleeped out in the frist clip. Did I say bleeped....

Enjoy,

Bob

OK, just watched the first clip... how is it these gricers managed to persuade some nice girlies to strip off and pose with a ******* train (yeah I know its not any train  )?

Do you reckon if we had done a nice calendar like that featuring said ladies and ZK we'd have got it rebuilt by now?

There are times that I wish some British aviation enthusiats were as passonate about their heritage as some of those who follow the blue haze.

I love the end of the first clip though. Almost sounds like the engine's growling in delight at the occupant in the cab.
