Q8. Traveled by train from Paris to Brindisi in Italy after flying from Croydon to Paris, Flying Boat to Egypt, train down to Cairo, then by plane to Karachi.

Hmm, according to a quick google, the Weir is 1938 (presumably British designed albeit with ideas taken from Focke and Cierva) and the M-1 is 1954. Perhaps its something even earlier?

I was hedging my bets Toby as all the ones prior to this seem to have had a non British Designer... But you could easily argue that the company was the designer. From what I can find, this was the first helicopter by a British designer (person).

Ok then;well done all, we now have Q6 ticked off, it is indeed one of only 2 Argosy T2's ever made, variants modified as navigation trainers;
and we nearly have the answer for Q4 and Q8.
