It's surprising how much you bung on.....When I reformatted and reloaded I was shocked at how basic FS9 looked without all the little bits added.
Difficult to get back as it was :sad:

Here is a little Head Up...Beware of Saving flights with Real Weather downloaded...Each WX file saved is over 3000 KBs whereas the normal WX file saved with a flight is 8 to 10 KBs. If you save a lot of flights like I do then your C: drive starts to a accumulate and lot of extra bloat.
Save your flights with Cleared Weather...It only takes a moment to download fresh Real Weather.

I used to have 2 80gb hard drives, one for windows & apps and one was used for storage & backups.
I purchased a 200GB sata2 hdd but I still use one of the old 80gb jobbies for storage & backups but that leaves one spare... :think:
You can probably see where this is going.. I have an 80gb HDD dedicated to FS with its own heavily tweeked install of winXP pro
