Argosy repaints wanted!!

Post by Trev Clark »

To all you wonderful painters out there.......
I have been flying Rick´s Argosy for a year and would love to have some new schemes for her.
I guess that the other planned model is not happening now, so can anybody do some nice 100 schemes for the 200 model? A little fictional, I know.

The 100 will be released sometime when Ricks see fit

Theyre are series 100 liveries already painted for it

It's wrong to assume it won't happen

Lets not see any on 200's please..that's not what we do here. :huf:

Patience

I got the impression that (in Rick's opinion, only) the Argosy was not a great sucsess and the possible 100 and C Mk1 were still born. If this is not the case then I will be happy to wait!
We are short of UK based paints on the 200 though, were they not used much in the UK?

Hi Trev

Rick said on thread recently he will look into getting the 100 released but is too busy at the moment.

No series 200 missing from the UK

BEA used the 200 in the UK...there were only six plus the prototype made and one of those was to replace a loss.

Only BEA bought it and the prototype was scrapped

The only other 200 to operate in the UK was the single Aer Turas EI-AVJ which belonged to Midwest/Transair of Canada and was ex BEA G-ASXM
