I recently flew the VA DC3 to FS9 default Le Touquet, which is most uninspiring scenery, and today found the following zip on 'all nodes busy': LFAT.zip. What a difference!
Following up from that zip those who like to hop across The Channel to France, as do many real life Club pilots might like to explore and download French scenery from the following website: http://perso.orange.fr/christian.dupriez/

You are into a good habit ;-)
Almost second to none of the default sceneries are good.
The very least thing I always do before I take off is to find myself a decent AFCAD. Even better a well done scenery. In that way your add-on scenery library slowly but surely gets filled with nice looking areas.
But I think for my next trip I have to give in....
Nowhere can I find any Kuwait scenery, only an AFCAD...not even a fs2002 one....there is one for FS98, but I'm pretty sure that it wont be compatible with FS2004.
Anyway thanks for the HU, that is a nice little site you've found there.

Tks Hobby.. I'll go and have a look as Le Tourqet is one of my 'usual' destinations
A lot depends on what other scenery you have installed as that part of the world can be pretty frame hungry with so many airfields in such a small locale but certainly, LTE could do with a little sprucing up

For Dan:
Sorry to say that at present there does not appear to be any scenery for Kuwait on this site but it does serve as another reference source for scenery for most countries in the world.

Yo guys..
Some of you will be wondering about my earlier comment about LFAT being a busy area. The penny dropped this afternoon when I went to install it.. I had got my LFAT's and LFPB's confused   Nice looking scenery though and have just booked from Le Bourget to Southend in order to try it out

Ding Dong!
Has anyone here tried Le Touquet yet?? I seem to be missing textures for a few walls at the far side of the terminal area (opposite end to the OZARK DC3) and none of my vehicles are textured
Edit:
Ok guys. A bit of guesswork and I've arrived at a satisfactory conclusion to Le Touquet
I don't speak or understand French but have a Peugeot 406 (my 3rd Peugeot) so I suppose some of it has rubbed off. I know that Hobby has had probs with things not showing too so here's what you do...
Download the Le Touquet scenery and drop the folder containing the scenery and texture folders into your Addon Scenery folder and add the scenery to your database in the usual way (settings/scenery/add area). Next, you will see on the download page of Hobby's link TWO sets of scenery boxed in red. These are the bits that will give you the remainder of your missing textures. One is called 'objects_complementaries.zip and this contains a scenery and texture folder. Copy the contents of the scenery folder to your Addon Scenery/Scenery folder and the contents of the texture folder to your Addon Scenery/Texture folder.
Next, the other file you need to download is called 'textures_communes1+2+3.zip'. This is basically full of textures and goes into your MAIN texture folder.
I didn't let any of these files overwrite my originals (where applicable) and beware of letting it do so as some of them are 2 years older than the ones already on my system.
What you will get with the addition of these two zips is a complete Le Touquet
It will not win any prizes for massive detail but it is VASTLY superior to the default and runs like an absolute dream on my XP2400. Enjoy
