Aha, someone else who remembers Eric Raffles, Ian. He commuted daily between Heathrow and Manchester for 10 years until his sudden retirement in 1975. Parking at "Fields" on the south side, he somehow always managed to get 28L/10R!ianhind wrote:40 years ago I remember "Raffles 1"
