Alright, on my way. The routing for the 748 works I know because it's nearly identical to the CV-580 route we ran the other way in real life to bring them all back from Europe and beyond.

Bollox, with Jonesey's fantastic advice I got BMFT as far as CYFB & I'm now sat there on the tarmac & FlyNet is refusing to take me off 'taxi' even though I've applied the parking brake several times, taxied round a bit, waited for ages etc.
Seems the client has now stopped responding too so I guess I'm stuffed.
I notice there are some other similar reports recently on the FlyNet forum.

Anyone know of any emergency procedure for getting the flight completed, or do I just have to start again?

Talk about taking the wind out of your sails.

There is something I think about copying the error messages and then you can be credited.

I don't know anything about it apart from something can be done if you have the info

Hey John, just did a quick check on my plane (G-BOHZ) and found this -

http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0692736/L/

This is where she is now, in Africa (surprise...) Last report on it's status is that it's stored in Kenya.

Guys... Is there a problem with Flynet as I can't seem to book my flight for this?

[edit] Just realised Its because I don't yet have a type rating on the Andover... :doho:

I picked the perfect day to fly -

CYFB 201600Z 11017KT 4SM -SN OVC025 M03/M06 A2984 RMK SN2SC6 SLP109

BGSF 201550Z 05006KT 9999 FEW030 BKN075 M14/M16 Q1020

I get to go from COLD and SNOWING to REALLY, REALLY COLD.

Have fun flying the birds out guys, it's Canadian Winter!

Hi Ben,

As soon as I can get into FlyNET I'll give out the 780 Ratings. All 748 pilots will get a 780 rating, if you want it removed, let me know.

Cheers John,

Not a bad first leg, but if anyone is flying real weather, beware the high ground around the west Coast of Greenland... especially on approach to BGBW. I very nearly met my end!

But that's why you fly along the inlet/bay/whatever it is. :)
