De Havilland Heron on AVSIM

Post by Effoh »

Gents,

A heads up for those that may be interested - DH Heron for FS9 & FSX by Capt Carlos Marrero. Panel by Sav according to the readme. I'm at work so unfortunately can't try it myself.

Thanks Colin

I saw this myself yesterday but didn't bother as it is not a real Heron

It represents the much modified Americanised abortion :curse:

Still each to his own

I will await the proper one

Sorry Garry - didn't realise that :-#

Ah well, saves me a download when I get home I suppose

Just out of interest, what are the differences between a real one and this please?

NP Colin

Fair HU post many will want it :madhead:

But not for the true Brit :worried:

The engines and cockpit hood is the most obvious visual

But they were basically rebuilt

Garry,

Thanks for that. I see what you mean - not quite the same thing at all!

Be nice to see 'proper' one in the not too distant future

I'd like to know how Sav did the panel too. I presume this bloke is using the Dove panel.. which I might add he's not got permission to use :curse:

I didn't realise that Dave as I have not downloaded it

My PC locks up and gives me a smack in the kisser if I try and download such impure items.

I couldn't even mention the Saunders ST-27  as in that was even worse :sicky: ..... for fear of being asked to show one on forum :worried: ....bearing in mind that this Forum might be read by women, children and animals of a nervous disposition

Garry,

I have downloaded the file and it contains Sav's Dove/Devon panel plus gauges. The author has been emailed and asked to explain himself.
