Well, fair do's to them, e-bay have now pulled the item.
It should be far easier to get done though.

Thanks very much for the heads up.

Hi Glen

There was a spate of this with FS at the beginning of the years and almost certainly happens a lot more than we think as it is down to weather it gets noticed and if the person reports it

It would seem to be an ongoing problem

Trouble is after removal it often turns up again under a different name.

That can be almost immediately

Oh...what I could do with a couple of bricks...if I got the chance

I believe you have summed up the entire Ebay marketing strategy very succinctly there!

AndyG
I'll second that!!

I had to pay some seller fees on ebay once, no problem I thought. Turns out my card was not "of the right type" :dunno: to make payments, despite it being a card from a main uk bank, and I ended up having to pay via postal order, bloody useless.

Im glad this guy has been stopped anyway, its not fair on anyone when people do this, especially the guys and gals who have put so much time into producing excellent planes, and then dont charge for them.

Consequently, I hardly use ebay after that payment incident, and feel even less inclined to do so now.

Regards,

James.

(This is the right thread, not that other one  )

This item is back again on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/60-Flight-Simulat ... dZViewItem

I reported it yesterday & it's still there.
ebay are a disgrace. The seller doesn't even have to sneak back on in disguise.

Anyone else bored & fancy pestering ebay. You never know it might help.

Ebay have been well and truly pestered by me, I've just sent them a harshly worded message requesting it be removed.

Well,

I sent this note {I thought } but it said the item number was Not Valid? Perhaps they've dealt with it? Anyhow, Here's what I wrote the Bastards

Item #260052615836,

This Item Number contains software Items that the seller can not legally sell. At least one Item {likely more,} Are the intellectual property of a software developer who I shall not name at this Time but who has contacted you already. The Item in question is a "free ware" Aircraft ad on for MS-Flight sim 2004. This Item is available directly from the developer with the understanding that it will not be re-sold. The "TRIDENT" Aircraft is the one in question.{ It's likely the others are illegal also!!} Please remove this item and inform the seller that he is infringing upon the copyright of the author.

Please note that there are a Number of us watching this item who know the Flight sim community very well indeed. We are well informed regarding who wrote which program's and we are not happy about the hard work of our talented friends being used for illegal profit. Again, the Item number is the first text in this note and the following, is a direct link to the Auction.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/60-Flight-Simulat ... dZViewItem

Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely.
Mr John Ivan Greilick
