Just downloaded the new 40th anniversary version but unable to locate the RAF panel for it.
At the moment got the civil panel.
It maybe me just being thick but any help would be very much appreciated.

You need to have DM's C1K aircraft to fit the paint on (obvious I know but worth stating)
If you have that you should be ok. Check DM's site for the latest version and you'll find the zip contains both versions (VC10 and C1K) plus documentation for both. These will go (by default) into the DMFS Shared Files folder contained in your Aircraft Folder
