Re: Viscount HQ model

False alarm - it should have said that they worked with the California Classic HQ AI model. It caught me out as the others are made for flyable models.

Viscount HQ model

On the California Classics web site there are some lovely new repaints being produced of a range of aircraft from the 50s and 60s, most of which haven't been done before - e.g Indian Airlines and Iran Air. The filenames fit Rick Piper's 700 model, but the textures won't display in FS9. The author ...

Í don't. Never really seen the point. Useful if you're trying to hide what you do from your ISP, or accessing location restricted content on YouTube, but otherwise.... :dunno:
Me too. I can't see why so much emphasis is put on it. As I see it, they are only for people with something to hide.

Re: FS9 AI Traffic for the 1970's.

Hi Fraser, that might well be the case. Unfortunately I can't fly my FS9 atm as the the aircraft won't accelerate on the runway; as though the runway was covered in glue. The engines go to full power, but the most the aircraft will get to is about 50kts. Can't for the life of me figure it out ...

Re: Circles in the US

Actually if you look at the end of that wiki page I linked to it appears that 60+ years of use are now actually seriously depleting the underground aquifers and leading to water shortages in some places. Greedy farmers are planting crops more densely and growing much thirstier crops which is ...

Re: Circles in the US

What a lovely name that airfield has!

Here in the UK we only use the name "Crop Circle" for nefarious activities supposedly carried out by beings from other planets:

Our huge field irrigators are more inclined to go up and down in straight lines for some ...

Re: FS9 AI Traffic for the 1970's.

My FS9 is set at 1967 and I have produced a lot of flight plans for that date and thereabouts. And some for other dates for reasons I can't remember. Have a sift through here, they may fill some gaps for you:

Re: FS2004 turns 18 today!

Ha ha - if I have to leave FS9, I shall leave the hobby.

I tried to be a good boy and upgraded myself to FSX during "lockdown" and was putting up with all the things I couldn't quite get to work as I wanted, but suddenly a Windows update came along that for whatever reason messed up my particular ...

I think from memory there was traffic toolbox which was part of the FS9 SDK. Or am I getting mixed up with FSX? :worried:

No you aren't getting mixed up - I have it installed in FS2004.
