I think the MOD should have bought it and gave it a refit and used it as a stop gap until they get the QEII class carriers, also maybe a couple of USN Forestal class carriers would do nicely :lol:

The only event I can think of that could come close to explaining that would be an above-ground nuclear test. But I thought those were banned before the time period you're talking about. Did the UK ever do anything like that to begin with?

I ve just been over at Captain sin's site and they have realeased the 727pro pack. But if you have a nervious disposition or a dicky ticker dont bother because its 1cent shy of 60euros. There are words that currently come to mind about their pricing, but i dare not print them here.

That was something magic Graham, I wonder why we cannot go back to steam after all, even burning bio-friendly fuels it would attract more back to the lines and also may in turn be cheaper than using electricity or deisel? :think:
