Yes - that is what I am seeing as well.

. . however (!) it is weird that over on flightsim, there are FSX repaints by Henry William (the files are clearly are dds and have the fsx model texture mapping) BUT they reference a 2004 HUNTPAK3 4 set of models to which they should be applied. Very stumped now.

Maybe Dave will spot this ..

Managed to have a look with dxt.bmp and the mapping is totally different so I expect there is no compatibility or means to covert the FS9 paints to fit the FSX models. Surprised this has not surfaced a mention in researching e.g. in repaint readme's, reviews and these and similar boards.

Gary, thanks. The file names I think are different (not at home now so can't say for sure).

I have tried to apply some older Swiss Air Force repaints by Markus Schindler to Dave's FSX F58 Hunter models but get a black bird. Are they a completely different texture mappings and therefore not at all compatible? Is there an easy way to convert them? Have done a big search and not found others ...

Was this released and did I miss it or are the people here flying this beauty lucky beta testers and FORs (Friends of Rick)?
