Re: AICarriers In-Flight Refuelling
Yes, I'm getting way ahead of myself. For now I would be happy to practice formation flying. I've tried FSRecorder but I could not keep in close formation, and I was flying the other aircraft so I knew what the flight plan was !!

Re: AICarriers In-Flight Refuelling
Having selected a different aircraft in the same session the Scimitar-Boat animations remain in place, very confusing !

Re: AICarriers In-Flight Refuelling
I was thinking that the drogue and not the entire hose would have an attachment point. Then if a matching receiver point could be added to the aircraft .cfg file in the same way as the tail hook point, then you would have to keep them within a certain distance for fuel to flow ?

Re: AICarriers In-Flight Refuelling
Another interesting thing I have found.
If I choose an aircraft other than the Scimitar for my flight the Scimitar-Boat appears with the control surfaces fully deflected. This is typical of the sim not picking up the animations. That is usually a result of the compile stage of model creation ...

Re: AICarriers In-Flight Refuelling
My set-up is;
FSX SP2 Acceleration with DX10 enabled. I do have REX 2.0 ( After a struggle ) but it wasn't running at he time of the screenshots ( Using real time weather which produced very low cloud )
I have picked up on a couple of threads regarding aicarriers and how people have introduced ...

AICarriers In-Flight Refuelling
As there is an absence of In-flight refueling in FSX I've often wondered if it would be possible to use the excellent AICarriers program.
After all the easiest way to do it would be to follow an aircraft travelling at a constant speed in a straight line.
So I thought I'd give it a try, here are ...
