It would probably be a lot easier to develop scenery using something like Flight1's Instant Scenery (payware), Whisplacer or Scruffyduck's Airport Design Editor, to be honest, depending on the complexity of what you want to achieve.

Moving the tower viewpoint in the scenery file is possible, but it needs the airport to be edited and recompiled using a tool such as Scruffyduck's Airport Design Editor (ADE).
It's not the easiest thing to get right and can be a pain, not least because normally you can only have one tower view per ...

Hi Dave,
I had a feeling it might, but it's something you might like to keep in mind for a future project, as it does seem to be something that people (or at least people who want FSX RAF Airfields from WW2, which does narrow it down rather a lot) want.
