Re: James Webb Space Telescope Images
Stunning comes somewhere near it Kevin.
A human is dwarfed standing beside a truck, which is dwarfed by surrounding buildings; those buildings are insignificant compared to the Earth.
Those rings around the dying star stretch 70,000 times further than the distance between our Earth and Sun. Why do humans feel so important, and when will the species admit that we have turned a beautiful home into a disaster area in the space of a couple of hundred years?

Re: James Webb Space Telescope Images
You’re correct Mike, stunning just doesn’t adequately describe these images. They make you realise how parochial has been human perspective for thousands of years. The scale of distance and time almost impossible for most of us to grasp and how insignificant we are in the cosmos.EricT
