Alphasim sure seems to be hungry for a large helping of my credit card. Vampire, Super Cobra, Gripen, XB-70......

Alphasim is becoming horribly addictive. Even though I won't be getting the Arrow ( jet fighters generally don't do much for me, Rick's Meteor being the most notable exception ), everytime a new release is announced here, I end up browsing through their collection and want to get something. Talk about a child in a sweet shop!
The B-36...the B-47...the Neptune...its only a matter of time for all of them.

Ah.. bless you all. It's nice to know I'm not alone
Alpha fill the 'kid' element in us all. I couldn't say how many of their products I have that I've only flown a handful of times.. some less, but.. every now and again, I feel like flying something a little different and reliable old Alpha usually gets the nod

I can say in all honesty that I've spent more on Alpha products and have bought more of them than for ANY other payware producer.. by a country mile. Later models don't get much use.. the Harvard I think I've flown twice  .. the Hampden.. once  .. the Cobra.. once (though I've only had it for 24hrs!).. the list is almost endless.
However.. they're always my second line of defense against boredom so I love em to bits, even though £'s per mile.. I'm still in arrears with most of what I've bought
I won't be getting the Arrow mind you.. even though it was outstanding in certain areas. Just doesn't hit that spot unfortunately.

Any aircraft that had THAT bad a deal deserves buying, if only to remind us not to go that route again, if at all possible.
Of course our Governement's response to that will be not to build aircraft of any size or shape ever again........ :crying:
I've got all the freeware CF-105s there are, and I'll get the Alpha one for sure, if only for comparison purposes.
